George Stepancich – CEO

Mr. Stepancich is the founder and CEO of GoldLantern.

Before starting GoldLantern, Mr. Stepancich was the Chief Architect of business development vision and strategy for a $50 million start up venture funded by premiere investors including Goldman Sachs. Under Mr. Stepancich’s leadership the Company entered into over 40 strategic partnerships and multi-million deals.  Previously, Mr. Stepancich ran business development for Siemens which was part of a business unit that generated $2 billion in sales. He worked closely with Siemens Mustang Venture Capital Fund and performed due diligence on companies by recommending strategic investments for Siemens.

Mr. Stepancich joined Siemens from NETCOM, a successful Internet Service Provider which was acquired for $250 million.  During that time he launched and operated several new business ventures. Prior to joining NETCOM, Mr. Stepancich developed and directed GTE’s Internet Services strategy. He also served as Director of Telecommunications & Information Technology for the University of California at San Diego. Mr. Stepancich received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from California State University and has attended courses from faculty and staff associated with Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and Yale.

Mr. Stepancich is currently a member of the Consumer Electronics Association Advisory Board Accessory Division.
